Fine-tune how the video/image looks — brightness, contrast, warmth, color pop, shadows, highlights, etc. Use this for any 'make it brighter / warmer / more vivid / darker / moodier' request. Do NOT use add_filter — that is only for named look presets like black-and-white or Kodak.
How It Works
All grade values are integers from -100 to +100. 0 = no change. Use ONLY the fields that match what the user asked for — do not set fields the user did not mention. Fields:
brightness — brighter (positive) / darker (negative)
contrast — punchier (positive) / flatter (negative)
saturation — more colorful (positive) / washed out (negative)
vibrance — subtle color pop without over-saturating skin tones
temperature — warmer/golden (positive) / cooler/blue (negative)
tint — green (negative) / magenta-pink (positive)
exposure — overall light level, like opening a camera aperture
highlights — brighten or recover bright areas
shadows — lift or crush dark areas
blacks — raise the black point (faded look) or crush it (deep blacks)
Typical mappings:
"make it warmer" → temperature: 25
"golden hour look" → temperature: 35, saturation: 20, vibrance: 15
"moody / dark" → brightness: -15, contrast: 20, shadows: -20
"make it pop" → contrast: 25, saturation: 20, vibrance: 15
"faded / washed out" → saturation: -30, blacks: 15
"brighter" → brightness: 25 (or exposure: 20)
"lift the shadows" → shadows: 25
"crush the blacks" → blacks: -30
